Many mistake STEP#8.
Important to start game with EverQuest2.exe instead of EQ2.exe (with patcher), or this UI won't work.

I have renamed each "keyword", user must replace.

Hope this helps.


Use this UI at your own risk.


1- Open the new eq2ui_loginscene.xml file with Notepad or your favorite text editor
2- Search for "User1" and replace with your login ID
3- Search for "Pass1" and replace with your password (case-sensitive)
4- Search for "1_Character1" and replace with your character name
5- Repeat step#4 for other character "1_CharacterX", where X is number 1-6.
6- Repeat step#2-4 if you have multiple accounts.

UserX = User ID (where X is number 1-5)
PassX = Password for this ID (where X is number 1-5)
X_CharacterY = Character Name (where X is number 1-5 for your account, Y is character number 1-6)

7- Save the file.

8- Start EverQuest2 from EverQuest2.exe, which is stored under your EQ2 folder.

Making shortcut for this file would be advised
EverQuest2.exe = fast log in
EQ2.exe = log in as normal with patcher

Make sure run patcher from launchpad as normal using EQ2.exe (which is same as normal log in), then close launchpad instead of click "PLAY".
After that use EverQuest2.exe to use this UI login screen.

As for security, if you are worrying about password get stolen, then plz replace all "PASS1-6" to blank.
By doing this, you have to type your password each time after you click characters.
