Description

* StayPut (tm) now works correctly for all bag formats.
* Bags may not be movable after installing a new version of this mod. Change the format, then change it back to correct this issue. You will only need to do this once per bag and only after a new install.


A small change to NobodySpecial's zero overlap bag mod. This mod adds a small "grab handle" in the upper left to ease repositioning of full bags. Special thanks to NobodySpecial for the original zero overlap bag, to Talyns for the dynamic bag resizing code, and to Deathbane27 for getting the format switching code working correctly (and the StayPut (tm) Technology.)

UPDATE:
  • Fixed infrequent small deadspace problem
  • Fixed instances where very small bags (house vaults) caused problems with titlebar and backdrop length and close button location
  • Added slots 21-36
  • Grab-handle tooltip now reports bag name
  • Added Deathbane27's StayPut (tm) Technology
  • Close button visibility is now independant of Frame opacity
  • ESC now closes window again
  • Frame & Titlebar settings now control bag format
    • None: Vertical
    • Frame Only: Horizontal
    • Frame & Titlebar: Square (standard bag display)

Hmm, very nice mod. I haven't fully tested it myself, but so far I like the no deadspace feature, that really bugged me before. However, the StayPut feature doesn't seem to work in the default mode. Oh well.

The bags (bank and inventory) are now 100% locked into position! The latest update did the trick for me!

Knew about the stay-put issue (you'll notice I listed it in the updates that it isn't working.) Didn't know about the move deal, I'll look into it.

there is a stay put issue with the bags. also you can not use the move window icon. you need to switch it to vert and then back to what ever positioning to get it to work again. think this mod needs some help.

Couldn't find it so this goes here despite the BIG RED WARNING

Using your full sized bag in a Fetish motif with Ger's mouseover_makesvisible_handle/close buttons I also kept having my bags shift. However after reading around some and digging into the files I noticed your Min/MaxSize is tiny (42,42) and also noticed my last bags first slot squared up evenly on the end of the window.

Changing MaximumSize="42,42" to MaximumSize="168,42" fixed my horizontal drift completely.

I'm not sure the slight vertical shift I experience in my shared bags will be so easy since I noticed that my inventory bags are tied to my uper letterbox frame and my shared slots are tied to my lower one... I might have to set that to to the max size of whatever I own at that point in time LOL.

Anyways thought you might want to know that since it made bags stayput(tm) for me (except the shared vertical, but taht's minor as my other bags are high enough not to get covered).

The ones in my bank work fine.

Er...it doesn't? D'oh. I'll take a look. (Bet'cha it's because I have the bag at its minimum size by default...)

Update: nope, didn't have to do with the initial size setting. I'm not entirely sure what's causing this, but I'll keep looking into it.

I don't know why but StayPut (tm) Technology doesn't work on my computer. I usually put my bag in the roght-botton of the screen, and the postition of the bag is still not saved.

Any suggestions?

I know. It's fixed in an as-yet unreleased version, just need to pin down one or two more changes and I'll get a StayPut (tm) version up.

I don't see a thread for issues etc or change reqeusts etc, so here goes.

A bug perhaps? When the bag window is on top of another window the "Clicktrhough" of the dead space applies to anywhere on the bag. it starts to really be noticeable when trying to move inventory items around when the bag is on top of another window. Clicking anywhere in the bag on an item that is in there clicks through the bag and gives the window behind it focus, bringing it up on top of the bag. Is it possible to get a version that doesn't do this, everything else is perfect, I have an older grab handle bag mod that I have no clue where I got from this side that is just like this one only it doesn't have the click through behaviour, I can post the file to be altered or if this one can just have a non-click through version released it would be great (my old one doesn't have the extra slots though)

The close button is tied to frame visibility, so if you have frames set to 100% transparent in your window settings the close button will become invisible. I can't decide if this is a cool "feature" and I should make the grab handle work the same way, or if it's annoying and I should make the close button always visible.

But when I use it, there's no 'X' in the upper right hand corner, making the bags impossible to close by mouse. (Not a problem, I ususally ESC them closed anyway).

But it might need looking in to.
