I have the a smiliar problem as Oggok & Zaf. Everytime I make a new charcter I have to take out the EQ2.ini to disable the UI and go in game and hit reset all window, to bring back the default XP bar. Then I exit to put the EQ2.ini back and start the game again to finally get the custom XP bar up. I run at 1280x782 Res. The first thing I thought of was that it might be off screen but I went to 1280x1024 res and it still didn't show up. Even resetting windows locations didn't bring back the XP bar or hitting Alt + x

I haven't tried editing the xml file but i'll try that now.

[EDIT] I tried it and it didn't work for me neither did making the window not go offscreen. Actually it made the ini remove & replace back trick not work anymore for me. I'm using the latest version of this 2.6 I really like this version alot more because it's like the default XP bar but improved. I don't like the new Fetish XP bar as much as this one.

Also if I hit the XP bar contol button Alt + x the XP bar dissapears again forver and I have to do the ini remove and put back trick. It puts the default XP bar back on. I tried lots of wasy to try to bring it back and nothing else works.

Havin an issue with the EXP bar 2.5
They added 2 new character slots and if I leave the EQ.ini in there, they don't have exp bars at all, if I remove the eq2.ini the normal exp bars come back. My first 4 chracters work fine with the eq2.inin in place, and work fine without it. Its just the most recent 2 new cahracter slots is dosent seem to work with.

Now since the same patch the armor reading is 10000, plans to update? Love your work. I'd like to chat with you one on one sometime.

Wow i congratulate you on a very unique mod, i like this very much and will most likely keep it , its very cool and all my guildies want it now after i had posted it anyway thnx for this mod now if only you could do same type of uniqueness with the player window and it would be perfect

I suspect you're running at a low screen resolution. This could result in the XP window being positioned off screen for new toons, since new toons use the default setting I provided for 1280 x 1024.

To fix this:
First try unchecking the "Allow windows off screen" setting in the Game Options window and relogging. If that fails do the following...

open eq2ui_mainhud_experience.xml in Notepad.
The very first line of code should contain
replace with
This should set the default location for your smaller screen to the top left corner. For any toons already created with the window stuck off screen, you'll have to hit the restore window defaults button and reposition all your windows.

Note: DO NOT use Wordpad or any other text editor to make this change. Almost anything other than Notepad will corrupt the file on save.

When making a new player the XP bar does not show

and after making that player and loggin in with this bar it doesnt even show if you turn it back to the default just thought I would let you know....

Very VERY good tho been using it for a while now

Sounds like a font problem. Each of those items uses FontZapf14. Install my version of eq2ui_font.xml or copy/paste the first 2 TextStyles from that file to yours.

I have installed this EXP Bar but i have one problem.
I cant see the % numbers infront and after the bar and the zone name is not displayed. any help ?

Edit: 2.5 includes the fonts

If stuff is getting cropped, its either due to using other fonts or possibly the window is partially covered by another window.

After using this for awhile (still impressed) I found that the time was distracting as it changed too fast. Also noticed that the numbers on the far left were cut off, only part of them was showing. Any ideas?
