Glad your trying to get a work around/Fix for the server errors, its frustrating cause it downloads a 0kb file and trying remove & re-download sometimes it takes 4 tries to get it to work.

Hello Darq,

I get a the same error plus the two new downloads with a size of 0 KB - if I try to play the game it crashes after trying to add the character to the zone.

Here are some screenhots

Right after startin the Live Updater:

Click the error with OK away an try a check for new files:

Then I klick the download button:
Download and Error - Image

Now it shows the two new downloaded files in red with an error (the new files are in the folder but with a size of 0 KB):

I had to delete the two new files now and use the original ones to be able to get into the game.

Edit:
I now took the files from the original download package, ran the update again and now everything seems to work.

Try it again, 003 might happen if the update server was unavailable but that should be temporary and rare. Sorry for the error, please post again if you get any more gremlins.

Hey Darq when I try to use live updater it errors out with error 003 can't retrieve updates from update server, are you sure your using latest version of software.

This horizontal version of the DarqUI Live Maintained Spell Monitor was a custom request, but I thought others might like to try it out. Everything works the same as the standard maintmon. If you decide to try this version out, rename or move your current betamark file to a safe place in case you want to go back to it later, then unzip and copy the file below into your custom UI folder.

(Also, make sure you have gotten the latest DarqUI Live updates from the updater before using this alternate version.)

Not that I am aware of, but I heard of beast lords having a problem since the update with windows that were patched on that day and they added a new .xml to the game.

UI changes that affect DarqUI are generally updated the same day, and to my knowledge all windows are current. Is there an issue I need to be aware of?

I also have no problems if you can only do it in the non "live" version if it means that it can be done and I'm sure some people would agree.

Lanrion's description is exactly right except that there is only one custom 4-stat page that can go on the left or right side (or both) so you are not setting it up wrong. The original idea was to choose a preset stat page for each XP type on one side, and then supplement that with custom stats of your choosing on the other side.

Before the DarqUI Live project was started, I had been working on a fairly ambitious drag-and-drop interface for the standard DarqUI utility to do what you are describing -- left and right custom pages with 6 stats each. It's been on the back-back burner since I haven't come up with a clean way to do drag-and-drop in the Live version. Let me see what I can come up with, although if the code gets too heavy it may not be worth it.

Just tried it and nope can't do both a right & left side, all it'll do is if you select to show it on both sides is the same exact stats. Am I doing something wrong here? Is it only able to do it on the non "live" version or?

Well thanks Lanrion I didn't see you could do it for both sides excellent! Now if there is a way to get it to show 6 per side I would be in heaven

You can do this. In the DarqUI updater utility go to the Experience tab. For the custom stats option choose #13 for the left and/or right side for each character you want this set to (note that you can switch xp bar views in-game, this just sets which view is default for each character).


Now, in-game log in to your character, then open your persona window. There is a view in your persona window that shows all your stats and lets you click to specify which ones will show in the xp bar's custom view. You can have 4 stats on each side of the xp bar for a total of 8.
