EQ2MAP - No Fog Modification
This is a modification for EQ2MAP that will remove the fog covering all the EQ2MAP provided maps as well as many of the SOE provided dungeon maps (however for many SOE maps it is hard coded e.g. velious)
Installing:
Copy the contents of the zip file into your /UI/EQ2MAP folder and overwrite the existing file(s).
Notes:
For many SOE maps it is hard coded to have total fog (e.g. velious). Also, when new map images are added to EQ2MAP they may or may not have fog (black) over it until this modification is updated for them.
WARNING: Using Another Custom Interface with EQ2MAP
You have to copy the contents into your /UI/~CustomInterfaceFolderName~ folder and DO NOT overwrite eq2map_ignorelist.xml file if it already exists.
Instead, you'll have to manually add the following to the eq2ui_ignorelist.xml that is included with the custom interface.
Use notepad to insert the following
