What are you trying to achieve? This is not a patch for ProfitUI, it is pointless to install it with that...

If my bug report still existed, you could take another look at it and see that I've actually answered your first question with my submissions. Immediately after upgrading from 3.3, I saw that the new GU35 LFG window wasn't working in ProfitUI Reborn 3.4.1. The
bug report that describes this claims that this issue has been fixed but nevertheless, it was broken for both my computer as well as my wife's. Being a developer myself, I thought that offering a solution would be much more appreciated than a description of the problem with "please fix it" attached. So I proceeded to search EQ2Interface, found a patch that claimed to fix this, and decided to undertake the challenge of working it in myself.
Regarding your second statement, how is it pointless if my LFG window does in fact display correctly after working this patch in?
Finally, I must express an objection to the deletion of my bug report.
You have stated that you want bug reports to only contain bug reports (not feature requests). This issue is clearly a bug. So, I have difficulty trying to understand why you deleted my report. IMO, the fact that it does not make use of an "official" ProfitUI patch is not a good enough reason.
To my eyes, the changes made to the eq2ui_mainhud.xml file itself seemed pretty harmless in that it mostly just shuffled around the ordering of a few <include> elements. The fact that the resulting file that I've come up with works is a mystery to me. But rather than deleting my report, shouldn't it have been discussed?
Wouldn't it make more sense to simply follow up to the thread, pointing out to everyone (not just Martrae and I) that it's not an official patch, and even providing some feedback describing why this-or-that <include> shouldn't be reordered? Keeping a record of how to work through potential problems (not just how to
fix them) is what bug reports are all about, after all.
Deleting my report was probably not in the best interest of everyone involved.
