Thx m8 ..
This Journal mod is by far the overall most usefull tool in coorperation
with eq2map. It helps me questing like no other combination of mods.
Our guild is fairly young and we are xp'ing the guild with heritage quests.
All our members are getting this installed
The writs and lore parts are great too ..
Thx for a very very helpfull tool ..

Only reason I was wondering was because how long it took to open up each one to change them. Seems like text files would be easier to maintain as well.

XML coding doesnt seem to allow for text includes. It requires you to make an item type of text, rather then just having text sitting there. This requires the journal information to be in XML.

For example, the GBS guide says Palladium Torque drops in Stormhold when infact it does not and never has.
|
I can confirm the torque does indeed drop from the named inside the armory. Was there with a friend walking her through the relics quest, mentor'd down to kill the named and the torque was loot'd form a large chest.

Not to be out doen by DBurgdorf, the journal now has access quest information, lore and legends information, as well as several of the more epic quests in the game. They are located under the "Lore" tab, because these quests explain the story of the game.
|
OK, you win.
I told my wife yesterday that the access quest info was going to be the last major addition to any of my mods for at least a little while. I want to get back into the game and actually *play* again. Of course, how long that lasts before I get the bug to change something else remains to be seen.

Im loving this. I actually had the Heritage Quests in Notes in your gorgeous version of Goldi's Start Button but now I can fill that with other useful information I MUST have at hand without going to a windowed game =) Its delicious thank you Jaxel from the bottom of my overly ordered, compartmentalised and extremely neat heart.

Please do not post a comment asking for help.
Please do not post a comment asking for features.
You are welcome to use the help forum to get help. If you want the author to add a feature please find the authors thread in the released forum.
Thank you for your consideration.
I see one again someone has somehow failed to read the HUGE red text before the comment box. Perhaps someone needs to make it bigger.
The reason why you are getting no heritage or writ info is because you installed it wrong.
