1) Create a new folder called LKUI and place it inside the EQ2\UI folder
(default would be c:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest II\UI\LKUI)

2) in your EQ2 main folder, RENAME EQ2.ini as EQ2.ini_SAVE

3) Open notepad and paste in the following two lines:
cl_ui_subdir UI/
cl_ui_skinname LKUI

Save this file as EQ2.ini (in your EQ2 folder)

4. Unzip the contents of this zip into the ...\LKUI\ directory, replacing all files when prompted.

EQ2MAP USERS READ THIS:
There is another folder in your UI folder called EQ2MAP...inside THAT folder you'll find two additional folders and an XML file. Copy the ENTIRE CONTENTS of the EQ2MAP folder into the LKUI folder...this will prevent the EQ2Map patcher from re-downloading the 20+ megs of files into the new LKUI folder

So you are copying:
C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\UI\EQ2MAP\eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml
C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\UI\EQ2MAP\eq2map\*.*
C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\UI\EQ2MAP\images\*.*

all into the C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\UI\LKUI folder

INSTALLATION:

You'll have to move your Player window and your Group Window so the images line up manually...havent figured out how to force EQ2 into placing windows in specific locations (if anyone out there knows how this is done...please let me know!)

Once that's one, move the XP bar into it's place under the Group Window.

Finally - you might have to resize the group and XP windows so the inner elements align properly (this is from the previous group and xp windows being resizable and possibly too small or large to match the background image of the LKUI.

Drop me a Personal Message on the EQ2Interface site if you have any comments or changes you think would improve my UI.
