Tablets II Complete Custom UI for EverQuest 2
Original Tablets II created by Talyns of Everfrost
Tablets II totally rebuilt and brought up to date and maintained by Agathorn

Tablets II is a complete custom UI for the game EverQuest 2 by Sony Online Entertainment. It replaces the game's default user interface graphics and code
with a different style. It is fully 100% legal to use with the game, as it uses the UI modding system designed and released by Sony.

To use the Tablets II UI follow these instructions:
1) Open Windows Explorer (My Computer) and browse to where you installed EverQuest 2
2) Open the UI subfolder
3) Createa NEW folder named TabletsII
4) Unzip the contents of this archive to the folder you just created
5) Open the new folder you just created
6) You will see several folders that start with the name images_", for example "images_blue". Choose ONE that you want to use and rename it to "images"
7) Open up Notepad
8) In Notepad enter the following information:

cl_ui_skinname TabletsII
cl_ui_subdir UI/

9) Save this file as "eq2.ini" in your main Everquest 2 directory
10) Start up Everquest 2 and enjoy!

ALTERNATIVE

Recently Sony has fixed the ability to change UIs while playing the game using in game commands. Sort of. If you wish, you can load into the
game using either the default UI ot any other UI as you have setup, but once in game "switch" to the Tablets II UI. If you do this, you can play using this
UI but when you exit the game and restart you will be back to whatever your default UI is. The above installation steps set Tablets II as your default UI,
but these procedures below will allow you to TEMPORARILY use the Tablets II UI for a individual gaming session.

1) Complete steps 1 through 6 (inclusive) above
2) Load into EQ2 as normal
3) Once fully loaded into the game type:

/loadui TabletsII

4) There will be a short delay while the Tablets II UI is loaded. Once the UI is loaded you will notice some windows will have no information or "dummy" information
5) Zone into another zone to force a complete refresh and loading of the UI (This is an issue caused by bugs in /loadui and not the Tablets II skin)
6) Enjoy.
