Threat/Detriment window
This is a multi-purpose window that combines several combat-related gauges and controls into one compact area. Self-cures, self health and power, aggro meter, enemy health and casting bar, and melee autoattack bars are brought together to make it easier to stay informed during combat. You can configure audible and chat channel detriment announcements to increase the efficiency of detriment cures when you are impaired during combat.
Most of the settings are self-explanatory, although some of the less obvious features are shown below.
Target's target health barIf you are tanking and lose aggro, this will give you a quick reference for who gained aggro and what their health is. If you are not tanking it gives you information about the health of the tank. The target's target bar can be clicked during combat to toggle your target between the tank and his target.
Autoattack barsDual wielders can click the autoattack bar area to display a single combined autoattack delay bar. If your weapon delays are different, or if you get disarmed, the Pri/Sec indicator will change to inform you. Sword and shield wielders will get -- in the secondary position. Click the autoattack bar area again to switch back to dual bars.
Pet threatThe pet threat indicator will only show for the enemy of your pet that you target directly. You can't see implied threat when you target your pet, since the game would not know which target to display in the case of multiple enemies.
Cures cancel spellcastIf you are using potions to cure (or if you are using cureplayer and you are not a cure casting class) checking this box will cause the potions themselves to be interrupted, since the potion cast is considered to be a spell. This prevents you from spam-curing with the Threat window cure buttons, which may be undesirable during intense combat.
Chat announce detrimentsBy default, Curse impairments are sent into the raidsay channel. If you want to stop announcing detriments, uncheck all of the boxes instead of removing the channel assignment. A blank channel can cause problems with the window.
Threat alertsThe Threat window can alert you when your threat value exceeds a specified threshold during combat. Alerts can take the form of a sound, a colored window background, or both.
