GENERAL NOTES:

This list shows who gives out guild writs in the tree city of Kelethin. Tier 2 writs have you hunt in Greater Faydark, tier 3 writs in Butcherblock, tier 4 writs in Butcherblock or Steamfont, tier 5 writs in Steamfont, tier 6 writs in Lesser Faydark, and tier 7 writs in the Loping Plains.

Writs in Kelethin work a bit differently than those in Qeynos and Freeport. First, there is only one writ giver for each city faction; you speak with the same person to obtain writs no matter what your level happens to be. Second, writs are not broken down into groups by tier; instead, you are offered writs reasonably close to your level, some of which may technically be a tier above or below you. And third, writs in Kelethin have very utilitarian names; if you're supposed to kill Crushbone Corruptors, for example, the writ in question will simply be named, "Crushbone Corruptors."

TRADESKILL WRITS:

The new tradeskill writ system implemented with GU27 contains two styles of writs. If you like a challenge, you can take on timed "Rush Orders"; if you prefer a more leisurely pace, you can accept regular "Work Orders." In either case, upon successful completion of the order, you will receive coin, guild status and some faction with the Coalition of Tradesfolke. The rush orders, being harder to complete, carry the greater reward.

Rush orders are timed, and must be completed within eight and a half minutes. (The timer begins when you examine the "Work Orders" table, and ends when you finish crafting the final required item.) Items created for these writs are virtual, meaning that they update the quest but do not appear in your inventory. Failure can thus be expensive, as you will lose the fuels and resources that you expended but will have nothing to show for your efforts.

Both styles of writ require you to be at least level 20 in your chosen tradeskill profession. Unlike the original tradeskill writs, the new writs can be deleted from your quest journal if you decide not to complete them.

WRITS FROM "FOREIGN" CITIES:

Citizens of both Qeynos and Freeport can obtain and complete writs from Kelethin writ givers. Similarly, citizens of Kelethin can obtain and complete writs from Qeynos writ givers. However, doing so will provide only status, not faction. It is not possible to increase faction standing with "foreign" city groups.
