CARNIVOROUS PLANTS

=====================================

Those players who purchase the retail box version of the "Kingdom of Sky" expansion are able to claim a house pet called a carnivorous plant. This plant is different from other house pets, in that you can "feed" it certain looted items, in return for which it will give you one-use food or spell items.

The items which can be fed to a carnivorous plant are as follows:

Level 10:
pouch of peat, small decaying bone, flask of rancid water
Level 20:
small bag of amomonia sulphate, large decaying bone, flask of stale water
Level 30:
small bag of muriate of potash, small polished bone, flask of pond water
Level 40:
small bag of diatomaceous earth, large polished bone, flask of fresh water
Level 50:
small bag of ammonium nitrate, small meaty bone, flask of pure water
Level 60:
small bag of guano, meaty bone, flask of aerated water
Level 70:
small bag of compost, large meaty bone, flask of enchanted water
Level 80:

A few important notes about feeding your plant:

- The level of the items fed to the plant don't matter at all, except in the case of fresh fruit. Fresh fruit given back by the plant will scale to the level of the lowest-level item that it was fed. Anything else given back by the plant is based on the level of the character feeding it.

- You don't have to have the items in your inventory at the time of the feeding. They can be in your bank vault instead. And you don't even actually have to own a plant; you can feed plants in other characters' domiciles.

- Feeding, watering and fertilizing are all done via the right-click menu options on the plant. There is no special timing needed during the feeding process, nor does it matter in what order you fertilize, water and feed the plant. Right-click on the plant and select the "fertilize" option as often as needed based on the item you're trying to create, then do the same thing with the "water" and "feed" options. Then right-click on the plant again and select the "check soil" option. That will give you the created item, and in some cases, if it's the first time you've created that particular item, a bit of experience and achievement XP.

Fresh Fruit (food item): various combinations *

* combinations (fert/water/bone) confirmed to produce fresh fruit
   1/1/4 1/1/5 1/3/1 1/4/1
   2/1/4 2/2/3 2/3/2 2/3/3
   2/1/2 2/2/1 3/2/2 3/2/1
   3/3/1 3/3/2 4/4/4 10/10/10

There may still be undiscovered recipes; however, most combinations other than those listed above will result in the plant giving back just a rotten fruit, which is good for absolutely nothing.
