Manage characters and spells
Back up and restore customizationsRestore points are saved in the backup folder inside your custom UI folder. They are named with the date and time that the backup was made. When you restore customizations from restore points, the target folder is the Custom UI folder selected on the Files page of the utility.
All of your DarqUI customization files are included in the backup including the files that are not configured with the utility (e.g. SetPrice, Broker, Character and Quest Helper). The chat log filter keys and spell suggestions are also copied into the restore point folder along with the interface files. When you click Restore, you will have a chance to decide which of these files to restore. If you prefer to recover a backed-up version of your spell suggestions or chat log filter key file manually, you can select No and use File Explorer to copy manually.
Manage charactersIf you have deleted a character, you can remove any lingering DarqUI settings from the customization files by using the dropdown boxes. Select the deleted character in the first dropdown, choose All components in the second dropdown, and then Remove settings.
You can also use this tool to clear an active character's settings for a specific window. This will take the character back to the default settings for that window. Choose the character, then in the second dropdown choose the window you want to clear, then Remove settings.
Manage spellsSpell suggestions are used by Quick Setup and by your characters when you choose spell icons from either the window utility or the in-game window manager. You can switch between multiple spell suggestion files in the window utility if you use different languages, but the game will always use DarqUI_Unified_Spells.ssf.
Quick Setup uses the first five spells listed for each class when setting up your characters automatically. If you want to reorder the spells so Quick Setup will choose a different set, choose an adventure class from the dropdown box and use the controls to change the list.
International players can rename entire spell lines by changing the base spell name in the list. Click twice on the spell in the list to edit the name. You can delete a spell line from the spell suggestions by highlighting it and clicking X.
When your changes are made, click Save changes to commit the changes to the spell suggestion file. If you want to cancel the changes, choose a different class from the dropdown list or switch away from the Manage page without clicking Save changes.
