CONSIGNMENT CONTAINERS

==================================================

Game Update 25 introduced "consignment containers," containers which can be placed in the consignment (broker) window to hold items your character is selling, while also showing up as furniture items in your home. It wasn't stated in the patch notes, but it's worth noting that although items sold on the broker from regular containers can *only* be purchased by other characters through the broker, items sold from consignment containers can be purchased directly from your home, allowing the purchasers to avoid paying broker fees.

There are nine types of consignment containers:

- Salesman's Crate: can hold any type of item.

- Armor and Shield Rack: can hold armor and shields.
- Bag Stand: can hold containers.
- Furniture Shelf: can hold furniture items.
- Jewelry Box: can hold accessories, including totems, and cloaks.
- Pantry: can hold food and drink.
- Potion Cabinet: can hold potions and poisons.
- Scroll Stand: can hold spell and combat art upgrades, recipe scrolls and books.
- Weapon Rack: can hold weapons, including arrows, axes and the like.

Each of these containers can be made from any T3-T7 rare wood, with the higher-tier versions of course having more room.

Tier 3 (fir) Salesman's Crates can hold 28 items; other tier 3 consignment containers can hold 48 items. T4 (oak) crates can hold 36 items; other T4 containers can hold 56. T5 (cedar) containers hold either 44 or 64 items, T6 (ironwood) containers either 52 or 72, and T7 (ebony) containers either 60 or 80.

Graphically, most of the consignment containers are a bit disappointing, as they utilize pre-existing house item skins, though admittedly not always skins already in use for other crafted furniture items. The Salesman's Crate, Pantry and Scroll Stand are chests. The Furniture Shelf and Armor and Shield Rack are wardrobes. The Weapon Rack, of course, is a weapon rack. The Potion Cabinet is a bookshelf, albeit one already filled with books and bottles, and the Jewelry Box looks just like some of the music boxes the Frostfell elves used to give away. The one truly new item is the Bag Stand, which is a "hat stand" from which several bags are hung.
