Default suggestion: allow cut and paste from the "all" bar

I may not be phrasing this correctly, but when I show the sidebar with all the pois and then open one of them the dot flashes (wonderful), and I see an id (why do I need this?) and a loc. I can copy the whole entry, id and loc, and I can then paste it into the set waypoint window, but of course it does not work correctly. Would it be possible to make it so that when you click on a poi in the poi window, it automatically populates the waypoint window, and if you click on a different one, it repopulates? Or make it so that when you copy the entry you can paste just the loc into the window? I know you can click on the map and make an automatic waypoint, but if you lose the waypoint, you have to go through the process again.

How do you manage to copy&paste from the list? I can't even do that. Regarding your request I currently see no way that we could do that.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

Default cut and paste...

open the big map
press "all" - the list window shows up
select something in the list window
press + the "something" opens with a description, a loc and perhaps other info
move mouse cursor to the description-it becomes highlighted
press ctrl+c (copies description to clipboard)
move mouse cursor to search window
press ctrl+v (copies contents of clipboard to search window)

of course this is not useful, since the contents of the clipboard include the entire text of the description. But if the description contained only the loc, it would work perfectly.

If you could break the description into two parts, loc and the rest...

Strange, that's what I tried, it doesn't copy anything for me. What exactly is going to your clipboard, only the highlighted part, i.e.
<ID>
<loc>
<description>
Or something else as well? If it's just the above we could simply change the order of <loc> and <ID> and copy&paste should work.

And if someone finds out why I can't copy&paste from the map (works just fine from other windows) let me know.

Unhappy Well, I'm an idiot (an embarassed idiot)...

Looks like I already had something on the clipboard and that's what was getting pasted. I did a bunch more experimenting and you cannot select and ctrl-c the description

/em slinks away with red face
