Default Grey out fog a bit?

wondering if there is a way to grey out the "fog-of-war" on maps for Antonica and others like the ones in-town... reason for this, i had about 90% of antonica uncovered, then messing around with eq2map, changed the default map of it. this reset the fog-of-war to complete black! upon changing back to the default map, it reset it again!

i dont want to get rid of it completely, just grey it out to like 50% transparent.

sorry if this has been talked about already, but havent found anything on the forums for just greying it out, just getting rid of it completely

We haven't found a way to do so, unfortunately.

word of the wise then, dont change zoneloc info and map for antonica, thundering steppes etc... it resets fog and gets rid of all the SOE POI's...

guess its time to run around and expose the zone again

FetishMaps provides "Virtual Defogging" via MiniMap, matched to the main map and set to semi-transparent.

MiniMap displays all maps without fog or Icons in a dedicated window that can be made fully transparent. It also includes a button for overlaying the main map. Set MiniMap to like 50% transparency and overlay it. This gives the appearance of 50% transparent fog. Icons and pointer also appear to be 50% transparent, but at least you can see the map
