Map won't show quest NPCs lit up

I noticed a while ago that my map no longer shows the helpful, flashing orange circles around quest NPCs like it used to. I thought maybe Sony had made a change, but one of my guildies does not have this problem, and uses the same set up as me.

I run ProfitUI and have the most up to date version of EQ2 maps updater. I checked the game options, but could not find one relating to the way NPCs appear on a map; only whether they show feathers over their heads in game.

Can anyone help me?

You could try to delete eq2map2\_Skinnable_POI_Icons.xml in your UI folder and run the updater again.

Looks like the "old map system" box needs to be checked

Then you disable the new map system.
You could try to delete all skinnable files.

I deleted all the skinnables then ran the updater again...voila! thanks for the help!
