Add filter to quest/journal window, recipe window

This may be waaay too enterprising but I thought I'd throw it out there. You know the window for visiting someone's house? The best feature about it is the Filter box, which allows you to type in a couple of letters and the results are filtered by what you type. is there any way to do the same with, say the quest/journal window? In other words, make it searchable by, say, creature name or item needed? This would also be an EXCELLENT feature for the recipe window. Is it possible?

Unfortunately it isn't possible. The filter box in the housing window is a hardcoded application of an editbox. You'd have to ask SOE to add filters to those windows.
