Default _ProfitUI_QuickRaidButtons.txt Updates?

Will the quickraidbuttons.txt file be updated by the person maintaing ProfitUI?

Ever since the level increase to 92 this file has been wrong for the 1-5 buttons for most classes. This mostly applies to healers as most don't even know that when they hit one of those buttons there are actually using a lower ability.

I have updated all of my toons myself but you would be surprised how many healers etc have no idea about this problem.

Honestly one of the main features of Profit has been that these buttons were already setup. Using Drums does add time as you are forced to setup these things yourself.

I am aware of the program tknarr built to generate the code for these buttons and I assume this may be the reason he doesn't update the file for all classes.

Actually for many of the heal spells the level didn't change. There are a few cases where they did. I am sure a collection of the new spell ids need to be made in order to update that file though. For us NA users its simple as putting the correct spellformylevel name in however for internation users it would have to be spellid# which isn't hard to obtain but tknarr would need the spell number so it works on international versions as well.

I play a inqi, warden and mystic and all of them had heal spells that increased after level 90 that is hard coded to the 1-5 buttons. I assume the other three did as well.

I just think a point needed to be made so others are aware of this.

I wont even mention the new AA healing spells as that would be too much to ask for. For instance the new cleric one for ritual healing that also has 2 reactive triggers.

For the US region I can use spell names, that's easy. For anything that requires spell IDs I need help from people who play that class to get the spells needed (I don't even know the spell IDs for the classes I play, I heavily customized my QRB file using spell names). I'll have to research whether I can get the spell IDs off of my crafters, or whether I have to actually have a character of that class of a suitable level.

I'll also have to look at whether or not the spell IDs are available through the EQ2 data API, and how much work it'd be to integrate that into my QRB config tool so it automatically builds XML with spell IDs instead of names.

Those are from 95-90 if i remember correctly for those classes.. to include some of the new prestiges if you wanted. I don't remember what was what on each profit grp numbers so you may have to open it up and match what you need, but thats what I do have for now.

I believe the idea is to gather the spell ids of things you would quick button. What I am seeing there is a lot of ca's and just my opinion but anyone quickbuttoning the cas/nukes are really missing the point of them. Its for like buffs and heals you use on other players. Anyway thanks for the ability numbers they may come in handy for some players.

Given names and spell IDs, I can update the QRB file for any spells in that list that're used on QRBs. I probably wouldn't be able to do anything about AA abilities because that'd involve deciding what's best on the buttons for classes I don't play and don't have any experience with, and I'm not going to try that. I will take some time and update existing QRBs for T10 spells though.

What I'd really like is a way to query SOE's servers for a current list of class, spell name, level, spell ID for everything a class gets. If I can get that in program-readable form, I can build that into my QRB config tool and solve the entire problem.

Quick question, apropos what I found digging in the data API: are the spell IDs listed all for the Master versions of the spells, or some other quality? Different qualities appear to have different spell IDs, so the one for the Master of a spell may not cast the Expert. That complicates things.

What you're finding in the data mine of spells isn't the id its looking for. Its a spell id based on the ability its easy to obtain. Save each of the ones you want to a hotbar the /savehotkeys or /savehotbars can't remember which open that up and you'll get an id of the ability on that hotbar. It applys to all grades of the ca/spell

While the QRB Config tool is good I have always hand edited the file. So has a lot of other people I know. Theres been a quick raid button configuritor for as long as I can remember and I think about 3 or 4 versions of it over the years.

Can't remember who wrote the last one but it did have a lot of ids in it for level 90 spells.

More spell IDs attached in CSV format - can be brought into Excel as a spreadsheet if needed. Just a note, the Beta server is up and should still be granting the clicky to level 95/320 when you create a character. It took just a couple of minutes per subclass to get IDs during CoE beta. Cheers!

I've been messing around with my QRB tool and the spell IDs from Darqwood's spreadsheet. Adding support for spell IDs themselve was the hard part, after that adding support for importing and exporting spell IDs and spell lines from/to CSV files wasn't hard. I just have to go through _ProfitUI_QuickRaidButtons.txt and set up the button assignments to match.

One question: I see the same spell IDs for the Paladin's Demonstration of Faith and Prayer of Healing lines. Prayer of Healing is a group heal, which wouldn't make much sense in the context of a quick raid button. Are these IDs correct for Demonstration of Faith?
