My guess would be a 64-bit version of the application would be needed.

Do you have the .NET framework installed?

WinXP 64 has built in support for, and should run, 32-bit applications w/o a recompile for 64-bit. They just won't be able to use any addresses beyond 32-bits.

I've been running the EQ2 Map Updater on Windows XP 64 Pro for many months. I didn't do anything special to get it to run at all. Do you have the .NET Framework 2.0 installed?

I have the same problem, won't work on my win x64.
I have installed .NET Framework 2.0, installed the security patch, reinstalled it, tried without the security patch, but no luck. I've reinstalled EQ2Map each time.
I have deleted eq2.ini, and run the EQ2Map update program.

I don't get an error message, just doesn't get the interface in game. It's like if EQ2Maps isn't there.
I can't start EQ2 from the update program either, get the message the everquest2 directory is wrong, or something like that. But the directory is correct. Checked it, and checked it twice.
