Default better navigation at homepage

Especially I wish to have a better possibility to choose the zone I want. This drop down menu is to long, need to pull to long and the zones are not in order ( better would be tierbased: Qeynos, Freeport, Antonica, Commonlands, TS, NF...).
But another menu would be the best solution, maybe like on eq2i.com in claymore article.

I agree that the dropdown box is rather long.

Perhaps a pair of dropdown boxes, using some javamagic?

IE, a small box on the left that contains "Original, DoF, KoS, EoF, Bloodline, Splitpaw, Fallen Dynasty" (or even just the "Bolded" ones that serve as categories now). And then have another dropdown to the right that starts out as blank, but is populated by java depending on what is selected in the left. IE, if the left is on "DoF" then the right one would show DoF zones and selecting one would take you there, like the current dropdown box does.

You can always visit... http://maps.eq2interface.com/map.php. Otherwise build a mock-up of what your thinking and we may implement it.

The list is generated dynamically from the database. However if you make a mock-up and every one likes it then it should be easy to implement.

very nice. didnt know it too..

now the order of the zones should be changed... I mean There is "Freerot" what is wrong and after Zek and before Freeport. Splitpaw is somewhere in middle, Fallen Dynasty at bottom and Bloodline is under Nektulos Forest...

Aye. But given that it already has top-level items (bolded, non-indented in the list) and child items (indented actual zones) it should be pretty easy to mix some java with some php and get some magic, I think
