Default Consuming Temporary Adornments and Booze

In my inventory, I have these items:
  • \aITEM 1608751314 439451181:Gnomish Spirits (Alcoholic)\/a
  • \aITEM 1954196949 1359456968:Quel'ule Scroll of Combat\/a

For each, I want to be able to make a macro to use them appropriately.

For the booze, you can't just drag it to a hotbar and click the button. You can put it on a hotbar, but you must then right-click the button and select "Drink".

Next, I tried a macro using:
  • /use_itemvdl 1608751314

That doesn't work either. When I put the macro on my hotbar and click it, it says "This item is not useable from inventory".

I get the same results using the same command with the vdl number for the temp adorn. The temporary adornment is a more difficult task. Not only does the adornment need to be activated, you have to tell it where to apply it. I suspect there is some way to use the item and have it automatically apply the adorn to whatever is in the primary weapon slot, but if there is, I haven't been able to figure it out, despite poring over The /List Reloaded.

Can either of these items be macroed to work from the hotbar? Or am I going to have to actually have a UI component built if I want a one-click tool for these items?
