Dropdown Help

I have a dropdown in the small variant of profits persona window. It has a datasource which contains several elements. If you select an element via the dropdown it behaves as expected. ie if you click the dropdown and select Factions it shows factions and goes to that tab.

If the game (alt+f) selects the element it shows the default element label for the dropdown (Items).

I have tried an onshow to set SelectedItemIndex to the appropriate value but that seems to have no effect on the label.

Any ideas/suggestions on what I can do to get it to show the proper label when the game selects it?
