Map Fog Check Box missing
After updating to the latest version of EQ2maps my Map Fog check box is no longer there. Is anyone else having this issue or know how I may correct this?

How did you go about the updating process? Did you simply install the new application/files over the existing ones, or did you uninstall the old and install the new?
The rule of thumb I live by when making a significant change in anything (like I assume the new version of the EQ2Map system has undergone), is to throw out the old before adding the new.

The Map Fog checkbox should act the same as it did previously in the EQ2MAP. What other UI mods do you use?

I have the same problem, I am using your new 'Show just the Map' plugin along with the new version of 'POI Finder'

It probably depends on the zone. Didn't you previously need Talyns' plugin to hide any fog? At least that's what I remember.
In any case we'll yet have to update that one.

I'm using ProfitUi. I did remove EQ2maps and then reinstall it yet I still can't remove the fog.

Yeah, you are correct. City zones it's there and working, other overland zones it does not.
/em patiently waits for new anti-fog plugin

Would you mind testing this... I updated the download area but have no why to test it:
http://www.eq2interface.com/download...ideAnyFog.html
It should make the fog checkbox not only hide the fog but also forces the checkbox to always show
Unzip the xml into your Eq2\ui\ myui\eq2map folder

Doesn't work
Tried with Profit Reborn in the following combinations:
With and Without Shrinkmap
With and Without Show Just the Map
With and Without POI Finder
Without any other plugins whatsoever
Each attempt was on a clean install of entire ProfitUI folder including eq2map folder, both from the auto-updaters. Also, just to make sure, I attempted it at the Commonlands Gate in West Freeport. Inside Freeport I always saw the "Hide Fog" checkbox, and in the Commonlands I did not.
I will sell you the soul of my favorite cat if you'll get this working! Seeing all that black on my map screen makes me sad...

I updated it again... Would you test again?
I set it up so now it also attempts to show the fog checkbox everytime the map window is opened, I think that should do it..
