compass and character bar on top is missing

I am unable to find the compass and character bar that is on the top. Anyone have any ideas how to find them please?
And have the old map instead of the new one.

You've probably hidden those windows. Check your window key settings in options to see which keys toggle those two windows, bind keys if needed, and toggle them back on. Also, make sure the setting to keep main HUD windows always visible is turned on, that'll keep those windows from getting turned off again.

I have that already turned on. i turned it off and on and still nothing. turned it off and logged out and then back on and turned it back on and still nothing

would i be able to find it in a file and set a location for them to be in thru there?

Alt C for compass..
still cant find the map tho
