Default Sokokar Select Window

I have a problem with the the selection window when using a sokokar post not showing all my available destinations. At most the window will display three locations, but in Teren's Grasp I should have four. I've reverted to the default window for now, but I am curious if the fetish window is only designed to show a maximum of three?

Oh, and while the guild creation window shows up there is no way to enter the name of the guild in the blank space given.

As always, keep up the good work. I can't play eq2 without my fetish

I haven't been in TG for a while... but I only remember 3 destinations. You could go to Highton to the north, danak's landing (the docks), or all the way over to the Fens post. What is the fourth?

I'm pretty sure you can only ever get to the Jarsath Wastes post by flying to Highton first...it's like the birds in Nek and TS; i.e., you can only get to Bone Lake by flying to N'Mar's Ascent first. Nothing to do with the UI, just the way the game's built.

Who's arguing?

Granted, it's been a while (a month or two, maybe?) since I've done anything in the Kunark zones. Can you really go straight to the Jarsath post from Teren's Grasp? I've seriously never had the option...always had to go to Highton first.

...Or are you just tormenting me, jnils? LOL

They updated the sokokar routes in GU45, added a few direct-route options that people used often. Eg., in Fens there's a direct hop from the zone-in post to Riliss (used to require going through Span and West Pens). None of the existing routes were removed, so some posts now have more options than before.

I am unable to reproduce the reported problem. All 4 locations show for me.

Please post a screenshot of your Fetish Sokokar window from TG.

Ahh, I didn't know they added more posts in GU45, musta missed it in the patch notes (I was away at the time).

I'll check it tonight, but for now can you confirm that the modified date on your copy of that window matches the one in the 9.9b zip file?

EDIT: Just checked, and I too see this issue. The window has too much dead space (as their screenie showed) and is not moveable or resizeable. I think it's a resolution issue... Zonx, you normally play at a relatively high resolution, no?

At my resolution, I can see the Highton's peaking out from the bottom,

Odd. I'll try to post a patch for this tomorrow. Always thought the window was to fluffy anyway but wasn't sure just how long the descriptive text got so stuck with the SOE layout. Didn't noticed they streamlined it recently.

Okay I've put the default UI of this in, but all it gives me is the popup for when I'm zoning in FP and that sort of thing. When I use the posts I still get the Fetish window, am I doing something wrong?

Actually there is nothing that needs to be removed. Simply edit that file and add this bit of text UserMovable="true" UserResizable="true" to the very top where the very first <page blah, blah, blah is and at the end of it before this > this will allow you to resize that window to show what ya missing which is at the bottom. It works as I've just did it.

Default Not exactly the same issue but same pop-up

My son and I both have a color deficiency, with the new pop-up and only the background shaded to show selected choice, we both have problems seeing the choice.

I guess we could delete the pop-up.xml file and use default but that takes away from the wonderful Fetsih theme and look.

Are there other options available to change the color of the background selection?

Give this a try. Basically, I adjusted the selection opacity to 1.000 and the Rectangle Style to the grouper type used for the buttons. The color looks nice and should be contrasting enough to give you good distinction.

I hope this helps.
