Default Debt

Hi,

I noticed recently that any initial debt from death starts at 6% then seems to increase in normal increments. Although, the 6% debt seems to fade as fast as normal initial debt. Anyone have a similar experience?

I think (key word, 'think') the amount of debt you get if/when killed depends on the difficulty of the mob (the easier the mob, the more debt you get).

For example, you go afk and a green mob paths by and proceeds to lay the beatdown on you, you get penalized worse for being killed by such a low difficulty mob. But if the same scenario occurs with lets sayyyyy...and orange mob, then it's more reasonable that you could/would get killed by it.

At least it's seemed to work this way for me in the past (or whenever I happen to pay attention to things when I die).

What's happening to me, which i believe may have something to do with the Fetish UI, is that first death = 6%. I had no debt prior, even if I was jumping off a cliff, 6%. However, the mechanics behind it are probably normal since it will dissolve as a normal .7% or 1%. Another example would be in a group/situation we all start off with no debt, after we all expereince 3 deaths I have 9.3% debt, the others 3.3%.
