having problems setup map updater

I have down loaded the vrs. for window 7 of the map updater and i try to get it to work just not sure where i need to put all the files to get it to work. Hope to talk to some one so that i can get the updater to work thanks.

I try to install the map updater and all it does is some time ask for username or password and others it open up to a web based map what am i doing wrong hope some one can help thanks.

Try turning off your anti-virus software before downloading the updater, some AVs have been known to screw with downloads.
