Default Map Problem

Greetings. I recently reinstalled EQ2 and EQ2Maps (the latest version 1.2.0). When I try to view maps (not using Sony's new map system), it doesn't revert back to the older EQ2Maps that I'm used to.

Any idea's on how I can view maps that give me options (as in.. to filter out nameds, mobs, locations, etc etc)?

The old style maps are no longer officially supported by EQ2MAP.

The ability to filter POIs by type is something that will hopefully be coming to the new map system, although to implement it in a simple fashion SOE needs to make some relatively minor changes.

Okay, thank you for the response.

Would I need to go back to an older version then?

Or... you could adjust to the new beautiful map system SoE has given us =) It really is superior to the old klunky system =)

You might be able to find an old version of the manual EQ2MAP if you are set on the old style, but I don't think any of the autoupdaters will download the old map POIs anymore, it's fully transitioned to the new system.

But yeah, the best thing to do would be to try and get used to the new system. You can search for POIs in the new one by default, which should be even better than just hiding some POI types.
