You are probably looking for eq2ui_newcharscene2.xml. There is also a small change to persona (point-of-need button for heroic characters) and a good many graphical changes in the DDS files. SOE seems to have sprung this on us, at least I wasn't aware of the fairly extensive UI changes until today. Scrambling now to get everything updated.

I posted this over on the SOE boards. Hopefully this will aid others here as well.

I'm currently using Drums.



I've highlighted the button to press to upgrade an existing character to Heroic. It's a little squirrely, since as soon as you mouse over it it vanishes, but you can still click it.



I'm running at 1600*900, so the placement of the popup window is a little inconvenient. I've highlighted the X button to close the window if anyone else encounters the same issue.

If you are using drumsUI, it's the "EverQuest II\UI\DrumsUI\images\window_element_specific.dds" file that causes this. Moved it, and it has the correct artwork now for character select.
