Default Recipe drop-down list

Howdy:

I was wondering if there is a way to organize the recipe lists one can make, i.e; Expert Sage spells 50-59, Tranmuting 1-30, etc. Currently when a new title is entered it drops to the bottom of the drop-down window and out of sequence if one from another charactor has been entered. Since this list is shared by all of your charactors it is impossible to organzie. I see a eq2_recipe.vdl file but am unable to view it or is there an xml file I can edit?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
Accredo

Thx Kavalan:

Yes that is similar to what I was referring to. I would also like to be able to edit the *.vdl. Can that be done via notepad++ and if so what addon would notepad++ be needed for that? Or is there another app I could use?

Thanks again for your help.

Just open it in Notepad or your text editor of choice -- you'll find its in plaintext.

Then it's just a matter of moving things around or modifying them however you like, just be sure to follow the pattern it sets out.

Thx lordebon; I was trying to open it with Notepad++ not the standard windows Notepad. Now I see the titles in there with Windows Notepad.

Thank you
