EQ2Map server possible?

Hey this map thing is great! Only been playing for a short time now but I've really gotten attached to this it. Did some looking around and haven't located this option but...Is it possible now or in the future to host a personal map server for EQ2MAP, one where friends, guildmates etc can log into and anyone connected to the same map server would be able to find their friends? It could show other players similar to how it does now in groups but it would be active the entire time.

The data in the eq2map window only refreshes when you relog as its only a custom interface. EQ2 only loads the interface files once. Theres no way to get EQ2 to constantly read the icon_*.xml in real time.

So there is no possible way to do this with in the SOE EULA.
