I would like to know how to do the same 2650x1600 resolution (30" monitor) using ProfitUI.
Can someone please upload/provide a ProfitUI_2560x1600_eq2_uisettings.ini file?

You can either not select anything and resize the top bars manually (and arrange your hotbars manually) or set your screenres to 2560x1024, load those uisettings, and then reset to your current res. That's how I do these files myself.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

Indeed, I was able to use the largest resolution file available, and then resize it myself after the game loaded the interface. I was unsure if items were off the screen (outside the viewable area) or if I was missing something, which is why I was concerned about it. The high 2560x1600 resolution is the native resolution of the 30" LCD monitor, and LCD monitors look HORRIBLE if you don't run them in their native resolution.

It would be extremely helpful if the author of the profitui mod, eq2map mod, or even the poi finder, would provide an easy to understand walkthrough type setup instructions for manual installations. Most people are too afraid of EXE's these days to use auto-installers. Manual installation can be done in 3 steps but it takes an hour to read through all of the pages of readme ramblings figure out those 3 steps if you don't already know... and even if you're savvy with the windows file system but new to EQ2 then it's not so straightforward.

Not sure if they are easy to understand, but my installation instructions are step by step at least (and the resolution issue is mentioned). Happy to integrate any specific feedback you might have though.

Only thing I'd suggest is a mention that you can try the closest screen resolution match, in this case, the 2560x1024 resolution.

I've done both (used the 2560x1024 file, and canceled and let the UI scale automatically), and when I picked the 2560x1024 settings file as a starting point, it saved me time.

Several of the windows (compass with loc, date/time with zonename) had different default settings if I cancelled out of the resolution selection window.

The docs made it sound like I had to click cancel when selecting the resolution file, since the 2560x1600 doesn't exist. Otherwise, the instructions are clean, simple, and completely usable.

So 2560x1600 users, try using the 2560x1024 first. That's my recommendation.

Did I mention I love the UI?

Good point, I clarified/amended the instructions accordingly.
