Default Custom Logon screen help??

I have a few questions on making a custom logon screen for my UI.

1) Is there a way to change the colors for the EULA and Username password screens?

2) When altering or making a new DDS file I loose transparency every time I save it, why?

3) Is there a way to get rid of the DELL and NVIDIA ads as well as the timers that are set to display those objects?

Background Info: Using Photoshop CS with NVIDIA DSS plug-in.

Thanks in advance

1) Don't rightly know, so I won't answer that one.

2) What format of DDS are you saving under? You need to make sure you have an alpha channel: DXT1a, DXT3, DXT5 all use alpha's. I save everything in DXT3 format personally. Also, because there is a seperate layer/channel for DDS that handles transparency. Photoshop kinda just *includes* a background for DDS files even though there really isnt one. So, of you do it right, you will maintain transparency, even though it may not look like it.

3) Yes, I believe there is a way. I don't have any personal experience. I would direct you to Zonx because he's fiddled with the loadscreens

Timers for the login screens are hard-coded, but you can replace the defulat ads with whatever screens you want, just change the SourceResource file name. You can also color the images fairly easily by adding color="#somehexvalue" to the image or the page that contains it.

If you wanna get fancy, you can also change the ShowEffector from OpacityEffetor to some other effector. For example, I changed some of them to ColorEffector to produce a transition from 1 corlor to another.

Download FetishNightfall and check out what all I did. Should give you some ideas
