Default HELP!!!!! Insom's Stat Strip 1.3

I installed this interface but have issues. Right now I would really like to remove this interface so I can get back to gaming. Apparently, some issues have presented themselves where playing is difficult.

1. There is an interface on my screen but certainly nothing like what I was expecting;
2. I cannot converse with any NPC properly. Most of the options to answer are not available to me;

If someone could help me with this issue I would very much appreciate it. I need to get my EQ2 back to normal. I have deleted the interface but it seems that didn't work.

Thanks!

Try typing /loadui default and see if that fixes it.

Default Thanks

Thank you for your reply. I will give that a shot when I go in-game in a few.

Default Insom's Stat Strip 1.3

Just as an FYI .... there was an existing eq2.ini in the EVERQUEST II folder. I renamed it and copied the NEW eq2.ini in its place. The STRIP appeared. It was located at the bottom of the screen where it was almost unreadable. I also still could not converse with any NPC. To return to normal I assume all that needs to be done is to delete and replace whatever I have done. Is this correct. At this point I just want to get back to normal and play. Thanks Darqwood!

When you use /loadui default, the game ignores any customizations and puts you back to the officially sanctioned UI. Every time you run the patcher it grooms the Default UI folder, removing anything that doesn't belong and adding anything that was deleted. If you have not configured the eq2.ini file with any settings beyond a custom UI folder, you can safely delete that as well.
