Compass mods pointing the wrong way?

I've been using a compass mod that I downloaded from EQ2 Interface. I just noticed yesterday that it's pointing 90 degrees in the wrong direction! When I'm facing north on the map, the compass says I'm facing west (or vice versa, can't remember for sure).

I removed the mod to see if SOE's compass was also wrong, and it's not. It works fine. I then downloaded a separate mod, and it was messed up too. Seems like maybe SOE changed something. Has anyone else noticed this?

As a much more minor issue, I noticed that ALL of the compasses (including SOE's) are off by about 6 degrees. If I face due north on the compass, and then hover my mouse over the compass, it tells me my heading is around 6 degrees.

I noticed that myself last night. I was in EF and suddenly north was east...

Not sure why it started happening, since the compass layout is the same as default in the .dds file, but I adjusted the one in fetish_widgets2.dds for mine, and it works perfectly now.

If anyone else uses the square compass from Fetish mods, here's the updated file:

SOE screwed up the directional placement in their revised compass.xml. Then they tweaked the server code to correct the problem, which hosed every other compass.

The rectangle Fetish compass.xml has not been updated to corect this problem. When it is, Magus's dds will be off by the same amount in the opposit direction.
