There seems to be something wrong with your proxy settings, but i have no clue how to fix it

I get the exact same error. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, I made sure I had the net framework 1.1, I turned firewall off and on. No joy so far. I'll keep trying.

Ok it looks like the program is trying to find updates_list.xml, but it's not there.

Yup. Copied the updates_list.xml from my other computer and it worked.

Ok, it didn't work. It now acts like it's updating but I get no files.

Ok so version 1.2.3 works on my XP laptop but not the Vista desktop.
