on my screen the hotbar mods (3/4) that you made look odd when you show the border so that the numbers display.

the border area is MUCH larger than the area that the actual butons are in.

this also has the side effect of sometimes making 1 hotbar be infront of another so buttons are not clickable with the mouse.

If you recently switched from another hotbar, you will need to resize the windows once and get a full logout, otherwise the windows stay at their previous size. (This is a problem with all mods that change the default size of a resizable window.) Just unlocking and clicking the upper-left corner usually does the trick.

In regards to the MookHUD portion of your mods:

I love the large guages, and the placement of the percentage text is great... I think it's good to have more information placed in such a way that doesn't detract from the visibility of the guage, and doesn't resize the window.

I am hereby officially requesting updates in light of todays patch
  • An implied target window in this style would be great. Also, any other useful information on the target windows, such as mob level, power, etc.
  • The group window now has dynamicdata for group member power/health percentage, correct? Can this info be added to this mod?

Already got the new target windows mostly done. The patch going live kind of hit me by surprise.

The new Groupmember DynamicData isn't actually integrated yet, I'll be releasing it when it's working.

I'm swamped at the moment, so I can't tell you when exactly I'll have the target windows up.

Here's the BETA version of the MookUI complete set. Uploading here temporarily since I'm going to be behind on the modding for a while.

Be warned: Bugs exist, use at your own risk, etc. etc. I'm converting some of my visual styles and am not done yet.

Default MookHUD bugs

I don't know if your updated MookHUD was considered beta or not, but here a few bug reports:
  • Vertical resizing of the group window doesn't work right.. it can be reduced vertically, but not expanded. Horizontal resizing seems to work as normal.
  • All the group members are listed as 'F2', regardless of their position in the list.

And one change request:

Not sure how this could be better handled, but the placement of the level indicators on the target/implied windows is semi-confusing. I place my target window directly under my implied window, and the numbers for their levels make it look a little funny, since they're floating above the name.

WHAT THE AIRBORNE PRIMATE FECES???? I FIXED THAT 4 TIMES AND IT'S STILL BUGGED. #$%^ UIBUILDER, I'M USING NOTEPAD!!!

Fixed.

  • the numbers for their levels make it look a little funny, since they're floating above the name.

I put them there so they wouldn't interfere with the name text if the target had a really long name, and so they'd be right next to the tier indicator... I can either keep it there or move it to one of the other three corners. Which would you prefer?

I have the 3/4 bar installed and love it. For some reason the bar for my main toon are the 3/4 versions. I just recently made a new toon and the bars are regular size for some reason. If I add a new hotbar (right click etc) then the bars show up as 3/4 bars. Is there something I did wrong or something?

Nice work on your MODs by the way!!

The game likes to ignore the XML settings and use the game settings when you make a new character. Resizing the first hotbar to 4x3 or something then switching it back should save it correctly.

Default mainchat bug

the chat window mod says that it is updated for tabbed use, but when you drag windows into it there is no way to switch between tabs.

I'm unable to replicate this bug. Please attach the current eq2ui_mainhud_mainchat.xml file you're using and your character's ini file.

Sorry. I don't know why, but about 3 out of the last 6 updates I've submitted didn't go through properly. This makes 4 out of 7. Should be good now.

downloaded again and it works now.

now on a different note: How can i get the outer frame to show permanently? I'm guessing in your code somewhere you make it so it autohides. I have all my transparancies set to always show but yet the frame still hides when the mouse focus isn't on it. I know most people are trying to get rid of frame and such but my UI looks better with a frame around the text.

Is there a simple line of code I can change or add (or remove for that matter) to fix this?

It's not happening on my end... I've got the frame always visible as well. You've got all 6 opacity sliders in Window Options set all the way to the right for the chat window?

aye all six max to the right. checking the mainhud file in this UI to see if something is changed there...

nope, nothing there. posting the mainchat and mainhud files just in case you can find an inconsistency.

Do you have the windows in the letterbox area? If so the frame will autohide no matter what you set the window settings to.

I have been using parts of your interface & I love them

I just checked out the Knowledge book mod & it's sensational !

I was wondering if you could do a similar translation of the Socials window?

It would be wonderful to have a smaller version of it.

Socials window is on the list of things to strip down.

Did you want a hotbar-like version of it? I wasn't planning on one, but if you want it then I'll add it to the list of side mods.

I would love a hot bar version of it similar to the 1/16th (right side) knowledge book.

I just thought a trimmed down version would be handy, when friends are sitting around talking & emoting.

I am happy to wait as long as it takes to come to fruition.

I never see the bank selector over the icon like in the pic. how do i get it to show up when needed?
