Default Same name on some of the xml. What to do

I have one problem here. My action bar addon AND my heroic bar addon both has a eq2ui_skininfo.xml. And as fare i understud from reading the FAQ on how to install addons it wont work if i make a folder for each. IS that correct? If no, a tutorial on how to do it would be nice and if yes.. what do i do? do i have to choose between the two addons??

Thanks so much in advance

Yes, that is correct. Any/All mods you wish to use will need to be in the same folder.

In your case, I don't believe it will matter which eq2ui_skininfo.xml file you keep (whether it's from the action bar or heroic bar addon). I've taken a peek at the eq2ui_skininfo.xml I have in my UI and I don't see any coding that directly calls on any of the other files.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a programmer, so I could be wrong ( it has been known to happen........once or twice )

Keep the eq2ui_skininfo.xml that belongs to the mod whose name you want to be on the UI.

But really, that file only does anything for /loadui, which is the DEVIL itself so it won't make a difference.

Indeed, the skininfo xml does nothing of (much) use. If any other files were conflicting, you'd have to choose which of the two mods you wanted to use for that window, or in some cases (eq2ui_mainhud.xml, for example) combine them for full functionality.

In this case, however, you can safely pick one skininfo file at random or just delete both.
