The application doesn't have permission to access that file location. Are you running as with admin privelages?

When a get a moment i'll slap together a tutorial on how to set permissions for EQ2Map if anyone is having issues with it.

Go to the Control Panel and open up the User Accounts. The bottom half of the window should have all the profiles created on the computer listed with their access levels below each of the names (such as Computer Administrator or Limited). If you're profile is labeled as Limited, then you won't be able to install many programs (if any at all) under it.

Problem:
I have downloaded the EQ2map updater and installed it. But when I try to run it I get the following Error Message "The application failed to initialize properly (0x0000135). I uninstalled it and downloaded it again. It still does the same thing.

Solution:
You must have The Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 or greater for this program to run
The Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 can be downloaded either from this direct download link or if you prefer you can get it from windows update.
