Default The application failed to initialize properly. ????

After installing the auto update download three different times, to different folders, uninstalling immediatly afterwards each time, it still failed to open every time. Is there a known solution for this problem?

Thanks, Codeo (innothule)

Default

Could this be your problem?

Before Installing:
You must have The Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 or greater for this program to run
The Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 can be downloaded either from this direct download link or if you prefer you can get it from windows update. When you try and run the program and you get "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application." or something similar it is because you either dont have the .net framework, or you have the .net framework but its really old.

Default Same error even after framework update.

I got the same error. I did the following steps exactly:

1. Uninstalled maps
2. installed Framework
3. restarted
4. installed maps

Results:
the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005)

note: this seems to be affecting a few apps of mine, HP printing interface particularly.

I looked on Google and found this thread:
http://groups.google.com/group/micro...05e426641a19ed

So, I performed the following:

1. Uninstalled maps
2. Ran regedit (according to google post above)
3. Restarted
4. Reinstalled framework
5. Restarted
6. installed maps

Results: same error.

Not sure where to go from here...

Thanks in advance for any information on this
