(Frame and Titlebar): Bank select arrows shown when mousing over, visibility of shortcut keys controllable via frame opacity settings.

* Chat Window:
- HOTFIX: Setting default chat channels should work properly now.
- Scroll bar at the right side, shown only when mousing over.
- Reduced distance between the tabs even more to save space.
- Changed behaviour for "frame & titlebar" as follows:
(None): No frame, no chat input possible.
(Frame Only): Frame, no chat input possible.
(Frame and Titlebar): Chat input possible, must have tabs. If you want to use this without tabs, change frame and backdrop to the minimum or it will look ugly.

- New button to send pet in to attack, guard itself and you (useful after calling the pet back).

- Cancel button added to prepare pane when in non-expanded mode.

READ CAREFULLY
2.x Installation Instructions:
1. Download the attached ZIP file at the bottom of this post.

2. Extract it to your EQ2 directory. This will not overwrite any installation of ProfitUI < v2.x, since it installs into a new folder (ProfitUI instead of Profit18).
NOTE: You'll have to copy all other mods you want to keep over to that folder, e.g. eq2map (or just have it auto-update to the new folder).

3. Rename your {server}.{toon}_eq2_uisettings.ini in your EQ2 directory to and add .bak to the end of it.

4. Start the game. When it first loads up, it will prompt you asking what layout you would like to import - choose whichever resolution you use. Otherwise you may have to manually set each window's setting. For example, if you cannot type in your chat window, you'll need to right click it and select "frame and titlebar". If you choose the wrong one, delete your {server}.{toon}_eq2_uisettings.ini and restart the game.

((Where to Start))

- PVP Server players: Open up eq2ui_mainhud.xml in your EverQuest II\UI\Profit18 directory in Notepad or Wordpad and add the line:

- This interface was designed for 1280x1024 and 1024x768 resolutions. (Other resolution layouts in the works, if you have one please PM me with your config file!)

- This interface was designed to have Smooth Font and Small Fonts options OFF. (Game Options -> User Interface -> Game Windows -> "Smooth Fonts"/"Use Small sans serif font")

- Stopping the intro movie from playing every time you start the game: Open up your eq2.ini file in a text editor (wordpad, notepad, etc) and add this bit of code on a new line, save the file and fire up the game.

- When using the minimap plugin and clicking the "Normalize" button, the map window wont expand, just the zone map inside of it. To correct this issue, click the Restore/Minimize button (up or down arrow, depending on its state) and the map will be normal again.

- When using the minimap plugin after clicking the "Normalize" button, the tabs (World, Current Zone) are invisible. To correct this issue, click the Restore/Minimuze button twice and they will return.

- Disbanding: There is a small X button to leave a group if you hover over your name in the group window.

- Making scroll bars visible for chat: Go to the Window Settings for the chat window and use the "Frame Only" settings.

- Chat entry box not showing up: Change Window Settings to "Frame and Titlebar"

- Something not working and you're not sure why? Delete your ProfitUI folder and reinstall with a fresh copy. If that doesn't work, check your eq2.ini file and make sure it points to your UI folder correctly. Be sure to check out the folder install image if you're confused about the whole process.

- Reducing the size of the group member window: There are files in the ProfitUI directory (smaller.eq2ui_mainhud_groupmembers.xml).
Simply delete the existing file for the one you want to change and remove the extra verbage in the file name.
(ex: Rename
smaller.eq2ui_mainhud_groupmembers.xml to eq2ui_mainhud_groupmembers.xml)

you're getting it again, and you'll always get it once I update and Dolby still needs to validate it.

Please post a pointer to the new download location at the -TOP- of this thread instead of at the bottom.. Might save some people some frustration

lol yeah, if I had access to the first post I wouldn't have needed to create a new download location in the first place, would I?

Default Broker Window not working

Hello,

Great UI.

I am having a problem with the broker windown not working and having to /loadui default to access the broker. I then have to log all the way out and back in to get the Profit UI to show back up again as choosing the profitui in the /loadui option boots me back to desktop.

Also I had eq2maps installed prior to adding this UI on 9/10/06 and those are missing. I will keep fishing through and find the maps to load with UI no probllem but I thought since I'm posting I might bring it up anyway.

Thanks again for this great UI.

EQ2maps is not included in ProfitUI, you'll need to install it separately. And your Market window trouble is likely caused by downloading an outdated version from this thread. Therefore:
