Default (Textstyles) Combat Bubbles; need help!

Hello,

I just downloaded the UI Builder and im learning how to use it. But I'm kinda confused because I can't get what I want to work out with the way combat bubbles appear and whatnot.

I really want my combat bubbles (Damage text) to show up in a straight line scrolling up. Kinda like this... for each target maybe too

-149
-433
-221
-183

I know how to make combat bubbles damage text bigger or smaller but I really want it like that and slowly fade away but in a straight line going up. I know it may be a little wierd but.. hey its me I like it

I really appreciate if you guys can help me. I need your UI Brains! lol

I don't think what you are wanting to do is possible. The game determines the location aka "float" of the combat text not the UI.

Yep I'm 99% sure that the game determines the location of the bubbles dynamically based on where it occurs, and so it's not something you can make that way.

Just filter combat to a new tab and watch that and you'll see numbers go up in a straight line and disappear /grin

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

I thought damage text is part of the UI because in Textstyles/combat bubble it has options to change the way it arcs and whatnot but not really sure how to use it.

I think you can do it I almost got it! but not really straight

Right you can change some things about it but I don't think you can determine its location on screen -- you'll notice that it floats upwards and also stays put relative to the world when you move the screen -- thats very much a dynamic location /grin
