Default Maintained window

Please for the love of god make a new maintained window. It is to the point on raids that I can't even tell if my debuffs or wards are up. I have so many procs that one group heal fills my window... Then I cant tell if debuffs landed or if wards are still up. Upping the window to 50+ still wouldn't fix the problem, but at least then we could make our on scripts to filter stuff.

This is a HUGE pain and definitely needs attention!

Oh, you mean a window where you can see just the buffs you want to see, in more detail?

No, he means that too many spells get dropped entirely from the window because you are over the 30 spell limit. Filtering doesn't help in that situation.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

Ah, yeah I read it when I'd just gotten up, hehe.

We really do need the ability to filter or perhaps I should say prioritize buffs at the very least.

Ya its completely ridiculous at this point. Right now, I have!

Twenty-one buffs in my maintained window(I can get more with fluff stuff).
Nine types of heals that should be in my maintained window(normally I would only be seeing five at all times).
Six debuffs that should be in at all times, and six more that are situational.
Anywhere from thirty-four gear procs per group heal or more.

Its absurd and really needs to be addressed, there needs to be some type of new system for buffs and procs.

BUMP! (Did not want to start a second thread)
This is only getting worse with time! I am to the point that any group heal fills up my window with procs(without buffs even!). I have not seen a ward or debuff in over a week of raiding.

I have no good answers that would not be taxing on the server but PLEASE!!! I am sure I am not the only one that wishes the maintained window was reworked.

DISCUSS!

Agreed. We at least need a way to filter out selected maintained spells, at least by name.

If the window is too cluttered, it serves very low purpose. Especially when important need-to-see spells are not visible at all.

That's what my Spell Timer mod does in a seperate window. It filters out all the spells you do not want to see and you can pick and chose which ones you want to be shown.

we need either DD for more spells or a way to filter them before the server populates the current DD

Well, you don't usually bump threads which are still at the top of the forum. Anyway, Rothgar has likely already seen this thread (and you know he knows the other one where this was discussed), but as you will notice there's rarely ever a dev response in here. Also the issue as such should be well known at SOE. So bumping this thread has limited value. It is likely just a server load/bandwidth question, I assume.

Kind of like gm9 said -- bumps are OK in many cases, if a question has gone unanswered or incomplete and the post has fallen down the page but in this case there's pretty much nothing more we (UI modders) can do, it's up to SOE.

That and sometimes I can't resist being a little sarcastic; it's only in good fun though, don't take it the wrong way =)

Oh trust me I am thick skinned, I took no offense. I just wanted to know if bumping was not acceptable.

Here is an idea for the maintained window. Make it so you can open multiple maintained windows but like the chat windows you can dictate what kind of effects are displayed in each window. So you can have separate windows for timed effects and one for always on effects. Well I don't know all the different categories there can be but I'm sure there are several.
