Activating an icon with a button

I need a button to activate and icon (one that acts as a button). Is it even possible? If so, how?

I'm not 100% sure of your question. An icon? Like a skill from the skill book?

That would be one example, yes. But I am trying to do it with the map icons, so I cannot use the useability command.

If you have a certain /waypoint that you want to go right to every time you enter everfrost or something like that, then you could just make a hotbar button with /waypoint plus the location and then hit the button.

Off hand all I can think of is place your icon and overlay the button on the top with a transparent background.... Hence the ilusion that the icon is the button when in reality its 2 elements..
