Persona Bar - posted fixes not working

Hi - as the title states my persona bar refuses to stay open, thus every time I log in it must be manually opened and repositioned, in addition the click cures settings window opens almost every time I log in as well. I am using the latest version of Fetish, and have attempted all the fixes I could find suggested in the forums. This is a brand new install of Fetish as well as EQ2 (for housecleaning purposes and to correct some other issues I performed a complete reinstall on a newer faster HD). The only thing old is the xml files for character settings which I habitually back up JIC. To me it almost sounds like the files are read only for some reason but all other ui changes I make (bag placement, and so on), work as normal. Thanks for any suggestions in advance!!

There's been no changes to the personabar in recent history, so there should be no behavioral changes there.

It could be an issue with your old UI settings. Instead of directly using an old one (which might be causing a permissions issue), try renaming the character name part and then use /load_uisettings in game to load that version. For example, if your character was Kalkin on Antonia Bayle, the file would be "Antonia Bayle_Kalkin_eq2_uisettings.xml" and you would rename it to something like "Antonia Bayle_KalkinBackup_eq2_uisettings.xml" and then load the character "KalkinBackup" in game.

Try that and see if the issues persist. I haven't noticed any issues with the personabar but I don't use it much; the click cures window definitely does not and should not pop up every time, the only time it should pop up by itself is if the game reinitializes the UI (eg, after a cutscene).
