Default Auto-Updater behaviour, different drive for EQ2

Great program, by the way!

I have my EQ2 installed on my F: drive as "F:\Everquest II".

Installing EQ2 AutoUpdater asks me for the location of my Everquest II exe file, I point to it, but it doesn't auto-update the INI file. Also, the location of directory "EQ2Map" is on my C: drive. Is this intended?

Also, I have resolution set to 1280x1024 but I'm using large fonts and the Auto-Updater looks funny. I've attached a screenshot.

My Everquest 2 directory is on my D:\ drive and I had no trouble installing the eq2map updater. I'm not sure why it wouldnt install correctly for you. The eq2map program will install it self on the C:\ under program files and yes thats intended. If you already have an eq2.ini it will read that ini and install it in your current custom UI folder. If you dont have a eq2.ini then it makes one for you. So if you already had a eq2.ini then it wont modifiy it.

The problem shown in the picture you attached is a known issue and is mentioned here that its being worked on: http://www.eq2interface.com/download...fo.php?id=3509 (scroll down to Known Issues twords the bottom).

delete the eq2.ini file in your everquest II directory, there is a known bug that causes the updater to download to the C:\ directory if some information is missing in eq2.ini. this is fixed in the soon to be released next version of the updater.
by deleteing eq2.ini it allows the updater to create a new one with all the information it needs. let me know if this solves your problem or not, thanks.
