Bigger map window or zoom?

I have just returned to the game after about a year and a half off. I am finding the map window to be very small for my liking. Is there any way to have a zoom or just a bigger map? Hard to mouse over the POI info. Or what about another tag with a list of POI's that you could click on and get a wp or something.
