Default Is there anyone left that can add maps?

There have been a few maps posted here in the last month, with everything needed to add them to the mod, yet nothing has happened.

Yes but they have lives and jobs, when they get some free time I am sure they will be added. Remember we do this in our free time for free out of enjoyment. Sometimes we just don't have any free time, playing EQ2 or doing things with our family or what not.

I've done the /loc for some.. but that not the problem. Other infomation (like the rectangle of the zone) and others things need to be found. And the map need to be made for a seires of line to something a litlte colorful, and readable.

I don't know these steps.. a few people do.. but like it was said they have jobs


Other problem are some of the maps use the same zone file with differnet areas open. I know HOF, The Laboratory of Lord Vyemm, and a few other instanced/ raid zones use the same zone, so the same map will be shown, so for that map there trying to get all the passage before putting up a map.

I'm not talking about making the maps. They have already been made, and the fragment of XML needed to be added to the core_mapstyles.xml has been given as well (the zone rects), its just a matter of adding them to the files served by the updater.

We are literally talking about a 5 minute task.

Its far from a 5min task at the moment, the admin area to add maps easly is not in place yet. Even if it was in place it wouldnt be a 5min task as you always need to test to make sure the site is generating the xml correctly. Its just alot of small easy tasks that pile up. Yes the site generates most of the xml includeing the core files. Anyway your map is has been added.
