Progress Bar

I am new to EverQuestII hence new to eq2interface.com. I have 2 chars in EQ (lvl 20 & 7). The other day I came here to download an interface. I found one I liked, downloaded, installed and it worked! Obviously i had to adjust my UI layout here and there to accommodate the larger/smaller windows and stuff - no problem. But now i have 2 other problems:

1) My spell casting/harvesting progress bar, for some inexplicable reason, disappeared (but only with my lvl 7. the lvl 20 still has the bar). Now although this is something one can live without, it remains a very handy tool!

2) The maps doesn't have the blips (the Default EQ interface still has it, but if I change my UI there's no blips). Once again this is something I can get by without, but it, once again, remains a very handy tool.

Can someone please help this layman?
